SS8 is the manufacturer of a service provider class, Sun Solaris based, voice mail platform based on Centigram. In 1998, Centigram sold the end user business to Mitel, Centigram was sold to ADC, who later spun the company off, that entity became SS8. The legacy product is basically the same as the legacy Centigram product. The NuPoint and SS8 share basically the same user interface.
